Police appeal for information after collision involving car and pedestrian

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision which happened on Wiske Avenue, Brough.

Officers were called at 6.19pm on Monday 06 January following a collision between a silver coloured Mercedes and a 28 year old man.

The man was taken to HRI by ambulance and treated for what are believed to be non life threatening injuries.

A 28 year old woman was arrested by police in connection with the incident. She currently remains in police custody.

Officers have spoken to a number of witnesses, however it is believed there are a number of people who may have seen what happened and not yet spoken to police.
