A vintage pick-up truck has been stolen from a house in Lockington.

Humberside Police are investigating the theft of the red Leyland pick-up truck, registration C385 EAG from Front Street, Lockington on Thursday 27 February.

The van was left parked securely under a lean-to on the grounds of the house.

A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said: “Two unknown males aged around 25-30 years were seen to approach the truck. They gained entry by unknown means before started it up and driving it away.

The truck is very distinctive.

“If you have any information about it please contact the police and quote crime reference CS/2029594.”

Humberside Police are also investigating the theft of a large trailer from a farm on Catfoss Road, Bewholme.

Thieves cut the lock on the gate of a remote entrance to the farm and drove in to the farmyard on Monday 24 February before smashing a lock on the IFOR WILLIAMS 16ft trailer and making off with it.

The police spokeswoman added: “The trailer has drop down sides and two new tyres.”
