Thieves are targeting sheds in villages surrounding Driffield.
Humberside Police are investigating three shed burglaries in the area.
Overnight on Tuesday 11 February thieves unknown entered the back garden of a semi-detached house on Driffield Road, Nafferton. A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said: “They approached a wooden shed in the garden and after gaining entry and removed two pedal cycles, leaving a further pedal cycle and garden tools behind.
“The cycles stolen were a black Boardman Gents Mountain bike and a white Carrera Mountain bike.

Around 2.40am on Wednesday 12 February thieves forced entry into a wooden shed in the rear garden of a property on Northside, Kilham.
Two cycles and a set of tools were taken out of the shed; the tools were left on the lawn.
The spokeswoman added: “They then approached an outbuilding and forced entry by unknown means. They searched inside before making off in an unknown direction.
The cycles are a Carrera Mountain bike and a Giant Rapid Road Cycle both with gel seats and saddlebag with a miniature tool kit attached.

And overnight on Thursday 13 February a wooden summerhouse at the rear of a property on Skipsea Road, Beeford was broken into. A Dark Green Marin gents cycle with saddlebag attached was stolen from inside the summerhouse, which is not alarmed.
