Wolds Cottage Kitchen, based in Wetwang, was awarded a Silver Award and a Bronze Award for their Marmalade at The World’s Original Marmalade Awards at Dalemain Mansion, Cumbria on Saturday 1 March.
The World’s Original Marmalade Awards are now in their ninth year and this year received a record 2000 entries from around the World. The artisan judging was carried out by a prestigious panel including award winning baker and food writer Dan Lepard and Food Historian Ivan Day.
Wolds Cottage Kitchen received a Silver Award for their Orange Marmalade in the artisan, any citrus category and a Bronze Award for their Orange & Ginger Marmalade in the artisan with an interesting addition category. This year’s award builds on their Gold, Silver and Bronze successes at the 2012 and 2013 Awards.
