Wetwang Chapel’s birthday

WETWANG Chapel celebrates its 200th anniversary this year.

To celebrate 200 years of the first building of a chapel in the village and the start of the Primitive Methodist Movement there will be a number of special events.

On Tuesday September 25, the Rev David Lunn will give a talk on Methodism in Wetwang and the Wolds in the village hall.

On Sunday October 7 there will be a songs of praise with a Methodist Flavour in the village hall.

A small exhibition will also be staged.
