Paul Hudson from Rillington organised a Tractor Road Run to raise money for a cancer charity that supported his uncle.

A convoy of more than 50 tractors raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This year was the third annual event organised by Paul Hudson from Rillington. This year they decided to raise money for Macmillan in memory of Paul’s Uncle, Arthur Croft. The route was over 30 miles and visited Wintringham, Duggleby, Thixendale, Wharam and Gromston.

The event raised a magnificent £2885.61 and the family would like to thank Mr & Mrs Witty, all of the landowners, family, friends and all who donated and so generously helped to raise the amount.

If you would like to raise money for Macmillan, please contact Sally Millington, fundraising manager, on 07801 307058 or email smillington@macmillan.org.uk
