Firefighters in North Yorkshire have rescued a man who was trapped in an overturned car after a crash.

Crews from Sherburn, Pickering and Scarborough were called to Brompton by Sawdon shortly after 7.30pm last night (Saturday).

They helped to free the man who was trapped after his vehicle overturned on Ings Lane.
