Community garden hope for Havenfield
PCSO Andrea Humphrey has come up with the idea to make use of the land on the Havenfield estate.
PCSO Humphrey said horses are often found abandoned on the land and the council are frequently having to replace the locks.

Her ideas so far include growing fruit and vegetables that could be given to local food banks or sold to raise money for more seeds, a memorial area, and a space for quiet contemplation.
PCSO Humphrey also hopes the garden will be family-friendly as well as wheelchair-accessible.
If the garden is a success, PCSO Humphrey said she and her colleagues will look at doing the same in the Burstall Hill and West Hill areas.

She is looking for volunteers to for a committee to get the project started and wants to hear from anyone who is interested.
She says she needs people who are passionate about the area and all ages are welcome.
