Pet owners in Nafferton are being urged to clean up the mess left by their dogs.
An appeal in the village newsletter says: “It’s not fair that conscientious dog owners who clear up their pets’ mess are also seen to be
offenders. Priestgate, Station Road and Middle Street are the areas worst affected by this anti-social behaviour. If you are prepared to report
dog owners who refuse to clear up the mess left by their dogs, then inform a member of the Parish Council who in turn will pass on the name(s) of the offender(s) to ERYC Enforcement Officers. Alternatively, you can contact the Dog Warden Service on 01482 396301: to request removal of dog faeces from the street, call 01482 393939.
