TWO men were issued with fixed penalty notices after they were arrested in Driffield town centre in the early hours of last Saturday.
The men were arrested in the Market Place at around 1.30am and taken to Bridlington police station for causing harassment, alarm and distress to others in the street.
Police in Driffield have also released details of the following recent incidents which they are investigating. A drainpipe was snapped when a bicycle, which had been secured to it with a rope lock, was stolen from the garden of a house on Riverhead Gardens, Driffield, between 4.05am and 4.10am on Sunday May 20.
The bike is described as a blue and silver ladies Giant racing machine.
A red and cream Honda Pandacub hydraulic breaker, valued at £1,000, was stolen from the site of a building being renovated in Wansford, between 12 noon on Monday May 14 and 8.30am on Friday May 18
And an instrument was used to scratch the bonnet, doors and tailgate of a red Renault Laguna, parked on The Forge, Driffield, between 10am on Sunday May 13 and 10am on Sunday May 20.
