DRIFFIELD runner Kerry Garner completed the London Marathon in 5 hours and 11 minutes.
It was the first time she took part in the world-famous event and she expects to have raised around £1,700 for Scope.

The primary school teacher, who lives on Riverhead, described taking part in the race as completely exhilarating.

She said: "I was not even half way round when I knew I would do it again.

"It was wonderful - the atmosphere was fantastic and the crowd helped you get round."
