THREE teachers from Beverley will be among those honoured next week at the Humber Education Business Partnership awards.
Jan Fowler, of Molescroft Primary School, will receive an award under the category of Enterprise - Teacher, at the ceremony at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel in Willerby on Thursday July 3.

At the same ceremony, Beverley High School teachers Trish Colley and Helen Galifant will receive awards for Professional Development - Teacher.

The presentations reward the success of those who support the Humber EBP and have helped to form the links between business and education.

Sandra Cooper, general manager of the Humber EBP, said: “We are delighted that we are able to celebrate the achievements of people in the region. The standard of entries is extremely high and the judges found the process of decision-making very difficult. We look forward to what is sure to be an exciting event.”

This year's guest speaker is Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, who will be speaking about his accomplishments as an intrepid explorer.
