ROYAL Ascot clues could be offered up as Beverley Racecourse stages two of its most prestigious races of the season over the next few days.
Two-year-old colts and geldings will be centre stage in the featured Brian Yeardley Continental Trophy tomorrow (Saturday).

And the juvenile fillies will be in the spotlight for this year's renewal of the Hilary Needler Trophy next Wednesday eveni
ng, May 28.
Both races are contested over the minimum trip of five furlongs.

Saturday's card starts at 2pm and will also feature a valuable sprint contest supported by Keith and Joyce Saunders to celebrate his birthday.
Beverley Electric return to the Westwood for the second year running to sponsor a handicap over the extended mile.

And Hull City fans who haven't been able to get a ticket for their play-off final at Wembley can enjoy reduced admission of £10 in the Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure if they wear their City shirt to the races.

The game will also be shown on dedicated screens in the Minster Bar.
Meanwhile next Wednesday's card, the first evening meeting of the season, starts at 6.35pm.

As well as the Hilary Needler Trophy, other highlights include the Guest & Philips Handicap Stakes for three-year-olds over the extended mile.

Weatherbys Bloodstock Insurance support the mile and a quarter handicap, while Etton based Signford Ltd again lend their backing to the opening Supabed Quality Paper Bedding Handicap for three year olds.
As ever, the totesport giant screen will help racegoers to follow all of the action on the track at both meetings.
