Members held their latest race at Dunbar on Saturday May 3, with a distance of 152 miles to the shortest flying loft. Eight members sent 61 birds, liberated at 7.30am in a south west wind. E & S Blades took first place with a Pied hen, bred by P Dixon they were also second with another Pied hen this time a Felix powell. In third place was G W Acey with a Cheq cock, a De Vadder from the stock of Gaden & Kent.

Hutton Cranswick Homing Society
The race from Dunbar on Saturday, May 3 was sponsored by Mr and Mrs Peter Sheriff. Members sent 55 pigeons and, even though the wind was supposedly a very light southerly the velocities were rather low. However, this didn’t stop Colin Sedman’s best racer, a magnificent Soontjen, winning yet again.He also won the club nomination and snowball. Colin also won second and third with Malcolm Mason tight behind taking fourth and fifth.
