Two defeats throughout the season ought to have been enough to win any other league but Buck couldn’t quite pull it off, despite the efforts of Mabbett, Hewitson and Chard. Rose & Crown were relegated despite a valiant effort by S Higginbottom, and new to the league Buck B had their work cut out but will probably do better a league down.

Station Buffet B in their first season took the B League title from Rose & Crown Little Driffield A who find their way back to A League after two straight promotions. Star B and Norseman A were the unlucky teams relegated, their places taken by Tiger A Beeford and Star A who squeezed in ahead of Royal Oak A.

The Valhalla Cup for the Most Consistent had competitors from A, B and C Leagues with M Skelton despite having the best record of 20 wins from 22 outings unable to push on. John Dowling was winner with the runner up S Kilby.

Other cup winners were: Team Cup - Cricket Club A; Threes Cup - J Dowling, P Hewitson, D Mabbett; Pairs - D Mabbett, J Dowling; Mixed Pairs - C Bekker, J Dowling; Speedy Edeson Seniors - R Lodge; Jo Cox Ladies - J Gladstone; Steve Rounding Individuals - D Mabbett.
