Yorkshire Hockey Division 9

Driffield Men’s 2nd team bagged yet another win with a 5-1 victory over Normanby Park.

A goal from Matt Hornby and a hat-trick from Will Walker (both members of the club’s Under 16s team) was added to by a goal from Mike Sowersby to ensure the team claimed the victory.

Having already won the league, the second team are still looking to add to their enormous goal tally of 156 goals scored, only 18 conceded, in their two remaining games, both of which are away against City of York 9ths and Halifax 4ths.

o Both the men’s 1st and 2nd team would like to give a big thank you to Cherry’s Country Hardware of North Froding-ham and The Original Keys of Driffield for their continued support and sponsorship throughout this season.
