The East Riding of Yorkshire Council recently held their annual Sport and Play Recognition Awards evening at the Beverley Leisure Centre.
The Driffield Junior Football Club was selected as one of the top five in the 'Top Club' category. The award is designed to recognise and celebrate the commitment and achievements of East Riding Clubs to improving the provision of safe, quality sporting activities for all members of the community.

Mrs Pat Nesfield also received a Certificate of Achievement in the 'Unsung Hero' category for her commitment to the club during 2007.
