Colts win 'Sixes' again

DRIFFIELD Colts (under 21s) won the Driffield CC Six-a-Side competition on Sunday, the second year in succession they have taken the trophy.

Tony Good, of Broach Hill Garage Group, sponsors of the competition, presented the trophy to Driffield captain Jamie Kember.

Eleven teams entered including Driffield Colts, North Dalton, Driffield U17s, Spread Eagle, Bridlington, Beverley, Nafferton, Cranswick, Woodcocks Plus, Wold Newton and Hornsea.

The four semi-finalists were Driffield Colts, Driffield U17s, Beverley and Hornsea Pirates with Colts beating Hornsea in the final.
