Flamborough’s perfect run ended by Leven MC Reserves 2-2 draw

Flamborough’s 100% record in the Right Car East Riding County League Division Three was halted by a 2-2 draw at home to Leven Members Club Reserves last weekend.

Goals from Harry and Louis Leddy earned a point for the hosts, who, despite dropping two points, are still well-placed for a challenge for the title and promotion to Division Two.

Louis Leddy’s strike was a superb effort and he was also named as the man of the match for Boro.

Flamborough will make the trip to York League outfit Fulford Reserves in the East Riding FA Junior Country Cup third round this Saturday.

Bridlington Rovers suffered a 4-0 loss on the road at Skirlaugh AFC in Division One last weekend.

Rovers will be hoping to bounce back with a win at second-from-bottom Hull Saints this coming Saturday.

Bridlington Rovers Pandas’ Division Four promotion hopes were dented by a 2-0 home loss against Little Driffield Reserves.

The Pandas are also in ERCFA Junior Country Cup action this Saturday, with a tough home tie against Stamford Bridge.

Bridlington Rovers Academy cruised to a 10-0 win at local rivals Seaside United in Division Five.

Lewis Sellers, Connor Varley and sub Thomas Green hit a brace of goals apiece for Academy, with Nick Allanach, Nathaniel Ansah, Jake Tindall and sub Michael Nugent also on the scoresheet.

Academy head to second-placed AFC Cottingham Reserves this Saturday, while United travel to leaders Goole United AFC Academy.
