Against the wind in the first half Heslerton found themselves 3-0 down. A dogged second-half display saw Ben Stroud fire home to give the Blues a lifeline but with further injuries hampering progress Wigginton added a fourth.

Tom Gibson was the Heslerton man of the match.

Heslerton Hawks U7s ended their season with another emphatic display.

Welcoming Brooklyn Cubs to Sand Lane the Hawks controlled the game with four goals from Trent Simpson, a brace for Valentine Davison and a goal from Harry Maw and Reggie Cooper.

The team played very well considering the strong wind but it was Thomas Horwell's strong running in midfield that earned him player of the match.
