Neal Bishop announces his departure from Scarborough Athletic

The veteran midfielder, who played for Scarborough FC earlier in his career, took to Twitter to announce he'd be leaving the club.

The 2020/21 season was cut short prematurely and was then curtailed last week.

One man who won't be returning to the Flamingo Land Stadium when action resumes is Bishop, who Tweeted: "Disappointed with the way things turned out last season, was looking forward to a year back at @safc, not meant to be though!

"All the best to the club going forward, but I’m looking to play more locally next year and enjoy watching mini Bish start his journey."
