Walkers aiming high on Garrowby Hill

PEOPLE are invited to take part in a walk around Garrowby Hill, the highest point in the East Riding, on Sunday, October 5.
The route is included in a recently produced pack of access area walks.
A free walks pack will be available to participants. The walk is approximately eight miles long and include some steep hills. Walking boots and a packed lunch are essential.

Those taking part should meet at the Wayrham picnic site, off the A166, east of Garrowby Hill at 10.30am.

Tickets cost £2 for adults, £1.50 for adults aged over 60, £1.50 for children aged under 16 and £6 for a family ticket (up to two adults and three children.) Advance booking is essential.
